I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Hostal Totsompops in the charming fishing village of Colera, and it was the perfect retreat for my adventurous spirit. The minimalist décor of the room offered a stylish yet cozy stay, complete with a flat-screen TV and elegant bathroom - just what I needed after a long day exploring the nearby Cap de Creus Nature Reserve. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the slow food served at the restaurant, showcasing fresh local products that definitely transported my taste buds to the Mediterranean. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home, and I loved the breakfast spread featuring local cheeses and homemade jams - truly a taste of Catalonia! Plus, the proximity to the Colera Train Station made it easy to plan our next adventure, whether it was heading to Figueres or Girona. I can absolutely see myself revisiting Totsompops in the future; it's an intimate slice of Spanish hospitality that any traveler would appreciate!
